Center for African Studies

Founded in 1960, the African Studies Center has played a key role in facilitating partnerships with African institutions, lowering barriers between students and faculty, and bringing talent from across campus into productive cooperation. Center for Gender in Global Context (GenCen)

The Center for Gender in Global Context (GenCen) is an interdisciplinary center in International Studies and Programs focused on gender, feminist, and women's studies. International Studies and Programs

ISP is the hub for international research, teaching and outreach at MSU. As a university-level office under the leadership of an associate provost and dean, ISP supports international activities throughout the institution, working to mobilize MSU's research and scholarship, enhance study abroad and other educational programs, form and strengthen international partnerships, and welcome and support international visitors, scholars and students.
