Russell E. Lucas
Dr. Lucas is Associate Professor of Arabic Studies in MSU’s Department of Linguistics and Languages, and he serves as director of Global Studies in the Arts and Humanities. He earned his Ph.D. in Government from Georgetown University.
His research interests include Middle Eastern culture and politics—especially matters involving identity, democratization, public opinion, the media, and foreign policy.
